Within our brand at LE CHAT a team of women create garments for other women. Knowing that 1 in 8 women will be affected by breast cancer at some time in her life, how can we not get involved with a cause that touches us all?
Last Christmas, we supported the charity Toutes à l’écoleto further their work educating young girls, and this year we have chosen to support France’s national League Against Cancer.
For us, Pink October is an opportunity to encourage important research, to help ease the strain for those women who have been diagnosed with this illness and also to raise greater awareness at a national level without simply spectating.
The more we can get people talking about this, the more women will be saved.
We are donating 5% of our sales to the League Against Cancer
It’s a simple and direct way to help.
Throughout the month of October, we’re offering you the chance to join us in contributing to the research that will fight breast cancer: LE CHAT has promised to donate 5% of the total amount of all eshop sales from the 1st to the 31st of October to the League Against Cancer.

Helping women affected by breast cancer in your local area...
Many people are unaware that the League Against Cancer includes a network of research centres, local branches that carry out direct action within each part of the country.
What’s the aim of these centres? They’re on-hand locally to help people affected by cancer, people whose lives have been turned upside-down as a result. Some of them are in great distress, often without work, sometimes with no financial resources and even completely alone.
This social insecurity, directly linked to women’s health, is the hidden side of breast cancer.
From our headquarters in Chauffailles, Saône et Loire, where it all began nearly 90 years ago, we are proud of giving real meaning to our local presence. Part of the donations we collect will be donated to research, and part will be directly donated to the local branch of the League Against Cancer in Saône-et-Loire to support local initiatives.
We are convinced that awareness of breast-cancer screening programmes starts with one woman talking to another - a mother, a cousin, a colleague - and in the same way, the real work of supporting charities also starts with the women around you.
This is our first year of being involved in Pink October but we can assure you that it will not be our last. This is a campaign that encompasses all the values we hold dear.
